Representing the saxophones for “Mass Appeal”, free jazz musician Ras Moshe will be leading an all-saxophone group in Tompkins Square Park, right across from Charlie “Bird” Parker’s old apartment on Avenue B.

In a tribute to the legendary saxophonist, every musician will play a different Charlie Parker piece, all at once, free style.  Afterward, players will give a performance of Moshe’s work titled “Word to Bird”, and continue with improvisation and solos.
